Welcome to another edition of Stats Tuesday! Today, we'll be taking a look at the Halifax real estate market and the statistics from the week of December 6th to December 12th, 2022.
During that week, there were a total of 70 sales, out of which 20 were sold over asking price. This accounts for 29% of deals sold for over list price. The average sale to list price ratio remained consistent at 100.3%. There were also 85 deals accepted, 16 cancellations, 69 new listings, and 27 price reductions.
The average sale price during this period was $538,945, which is maintaining its value from the previous year's average sale price of $459,418.
